Dan Miscavige was admitted to the practice of law in Pennsylvania in 1977. He is a graduate of Elizabethtown College and The Dickinson School of Law.
Upon admission to practice, Miscavige, after a period as a sole practitioner, has been affiliated as partner with, first, a Hazleton firm and, for approximately 16 years, a Philadelphia firm. He is a former member of Gillespie, Miscavige & Ferdinand, LLC with offices in Drums, Pennsylvania.
Miscavige is admitted to practice and is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Carbon County Bar Association. He has served as Chancellor of the Bar Association in Carbon County and presently serves as a member of the Community Service Committee and Chair of the Fee Dispute Committee. He is also admitted to practice before the US District Court, Middle District of Pennsylvania; Third Circuit of the U. S. Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
He has retired from active practice March 31, 2022 and is currently affiliated of Counsel with the Firm.
