Casey A. Gillespie is a lifelong resident of Northeastern Pennsylvania. She is a third generation trial lawyer following her father, Robert J. Gillespie, Jr., and grandfather, Robert J. Gillespie, Sr., in the practice of law.
Gillespie graduated with honors from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester Massachusetts with a degree in Political Science. After graduation, Gillespie spent two years in Boston planning major fundraising events and galas for non-profit organizations such as Boston Children's Hospital, Partners in Health and March of Dimes.
Gillespie graduated from Penn State University – Dickinson School of Law in 2013. While in law school, she participated in the Children's Advocacy Clinic, serving as Guardian ad Litem for children who were abused and/or neglected as well as those involved in other civil court actions such as adoption, domestic violence, and custody matters.
Gillespie was selected by her peers to deliver the Dickinson School of Law commencement speech. In her speech, Gillespie highlighted the importance of giving a voice to the otherwise voiceless in the legal system.
Upon graduating, Gillespie spent two and one-half years with the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, clerking for Justice Correale F. Stevens. Gillespie had previously interned with Justice Stevens while she was attending law school and he was serving as the President Judge of the Superior Court of Pennsylvania.
Gillespie's practice includes, personal injury, the representation of commercial clients in both corporate and litigation matters, and estate planning and administration.
