Philadelphia Super Lawyer
» How Super Lawyers Are Selected:
Law and Politics and the publisher of Philadelphia Magazine attempted to find the currently outstanding lawyers in Pennsylvania. Attorneys throughout the state were asked to nominate the best lawyers they have personally observed in action. A rigorous selection process was thereafter undertaken by Law and Politics, which included surveys of other attorneys, research on the credentials of the nominated attorney, and review by a blue ribbon panel before the attorney received the designation as a "Super Lawyer". The goal was to select as Super Lawyers the top five (5%) percent of Pennsylvania attorneys.

Less than one (1%) percent of U.S. lawyers are members. The purpose of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum is to certify the accomplishments of trial lawyers who have achieved large awards on behalf of their clients so that they may benefit from that recognition, and so that colleagues and the public will be aware of their accomplishments.
